Blue Mountains Iyengar Yoga Studio was established in 1994, teaching in the tradition of BKS Iyengar.

The principal teacher, director Lulu Bull is the senior teacher at the school, and is a direct student of BKS Iyengar. Lulu returns to India for further studies regularly. Lulu has been practicing and teaching since 1984 and at present holds a Senior Intermediate Level Two Certificate. Lulu conducts teacher training within the school and travels interstate to run retreats and workshops.

The Studio is a fully equipped Iyengar Centre, with 2 rooms. It is situated upstairs on Main Street Katoomba, two minutes from the train station and main shopping precinct. The studio is surrounded by World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park, a stunning location.
